  3. Add food coloring (you can use gel). Stir at medium speed for 2 minutes. Scrape down the edges. Pour into prepared baking dish. Gently tap the pan(s) on the table several times to remove any air bubbles.
  4. Place in oven. Bake for 29-34 minutes in a 9x13-inch baking pan or 8 minutes in a round pan (toothpick should come out clean in center).
